ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Istanbul Arbitration Centre (ISTAC) is delighted to co-host a half-day conference “The Psychology of the Arbitration Hearing” with TUGA | ARAT and Patocchi & Marzolini on 28 March 2019, in Istanbul. The panels will consist of speakers from common and civil law backgrounds, including Christopher Harris QC, Laurence Shore, Dr. Ragnar Harbst, Prof. Giacomo Rojas Elgueta, Prof. Dr. Ziya Akıncı, Paolo Marzolini, Dr. İsmail G. Esin and Umut Tuga, as well as distinguished psychologist Dr. Leslie Ellis.
The Conference is intended to be practical in its approach, it will be of interest to lawyers, general commercial lawyers, arbitration practitioners, in-house counsel, experts and business people. This Conference will be conducted in English. No simultaneous translation will be offered.

- Standard fee : 400 Turkish Lira (VAT included)
All banking charges associated with the payment should be borne by the party making such payment.

Please note that complimentary seats are offered on a first-come-first-served basis and at the organizers’ discretion. Within a reasonable time, applicants will be notified by email with the result.

Registration
The registration fee includes coffee breaks. Attendance is limited due to the capacity of the venue. All applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy
A substitute delegate is welcome at any time and no extra charge if you are unable to attend. Full payment will be imposed if cancellation is made within 5 days of the event date. This also applies to any “no-shows” on the day of event.
All notices of cancellations or replacements must be made in writing to istac@istac.org.tr and must be acknowledged by ISTAC.

Please note that ISTAC reserves the right to cancel (due to unforeseen circumstances) or to make minor alterations to the programme & speakers.
