Young ISTAC’s Event on Arbitration Friendliness in China and Turkey was successfully held
The first cooperation between Young ISTAC and the Young Chinese European Arbitration Centre was a panel talk on “Arbitration Friendliness in China and Turkey” held by Brödermann Jahn, Hamburg on 16 August 2017.
In this panel, Ezgi Babur von Schwander, a member of Young ISTAC, and Rong Zheng, a member of Young CEAC have elaborated on the historical development of arbitration in Turkey and in China, specificities regarding the arbitration agreement, and the enforcement, recognition and setting-aside of arbitral awards.
