{"id":969,"date":"2016-02-04T16:32:34","date_gmt":"2016-02-04T14:32:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/istac.org.tr\/en\/?p=969"},"modified":"2023-08-08T21:32:20","modified_gmt":"2023-08-08T18:32:20","slug":"jan-paulsson","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/istac.org.tr\/en\/jan-paulsson\/","title":{"rendered":"Jan Paulsson"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Professor Paulsson is a former President of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration, immediate past President of the LCIA, a former Vice-President of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague, a board member of the American Arbitration Association, and a member of the Singapore International Arbitration Court.<\/p>\n<p>He has participated as counsel or arbitrator in over 700 arbitrations in Europe, Asia, the United States and Africa. He has also acted before a great variety of international tribunals, including the International Court of Justice in The Hague.<\/p>\n<p>Professor Paulsson received his A.B. from Harvard in 1971, his J.D. from Yale Law School in 1975, where he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and a\u00a0<i>Dipl\u00f4me d&#8217;\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es<\/i>\u00a0from the University of Paris in 1977.<\/p>\n<p><i>Denial of Justice in International Law<\/i>, (Cambridge University Press, 2005); <i>Guide to ICSID Arbitration<\/i>, (Kluwer, 2004, with L.
