2021-2022 Mentorship Programme Launches on March 10

ISTAC and Young ISTAC jointly organise a new Mentorship Programme which will provide young Turkish lawyers with exclusive opportunities to interact, build relationship, and be guided by senior Turkish and international arbitration practitioners.

During this one-year program, mentees will acquire and improve skills indispensable to any successful lawyer, including: how to present yourself, build professional contacts and network, prepare a presentation, and pitch before a client. In addition, mentees will have abundant opportunities to interact with leading arbitration practitioners and in-house counsels from all over the world.

This programme, in and of itself, may not change your life, but it will surely give you the skills through which you can improve your legal career. The Mentorship Programme aims to inspire young lawyers to have courage and stand out.

Structure of the programme

Throughout the programme, each group will meet and work independently, while collaborating with other groups on a wide range of projects.

Who will be the mentees and the mentors

The Mentorship Programme is best suited to young Turkish lawyers who are interested in international arbitration, are willing to take on an active role and display a strong commitment to developing new professional skills and connections.
