11 April 2017- Joint Conference of ISTAC and CMS Vienna

The joint conference of ISTAC and CMS Vienna, sponsored by ATIS (Association of Austrian and Turkish entrepreneurs and industrialists) was held in Vienna on 11 April 2017.

In the first session of the conference, ISTAC Secretary General Dr. Candan Yasan Tepetaş and Young ISTAC’s foreign affairs committee coordinator Att. N. Can Işıktaç introduced the Istanbul Arbitration Centre and in particular ISTAC Fast Track Arbitration Rules.

In the second session, Dr. Döne Yalçın, moderated a panel in which Daniela Karollus-Bruner (CMS Vienna), Dr. Dorothee Ruckteschler (CMS Stuttgart) and Dr. Candan Yasan Tepetaş (ISTAC) discussed the advantages and the downsides of fast track procedures in international arbitration.
